ACCESSO TEAMS UP WITH ITV TO OFFER ACCESSO PASSPORT TICKETING SUITE

accesso, an award-winning provider of technology for attraction operators, has formed a strategic agreement with ITV Broadcast, to implement a ticketing suite known as accesso Passport.

The suite provides a number of interactive experiences to connect ITV’s experiences and tours with prospective customers around the world.

The accesso Passport ticketing suite will be available across ITV’s Coronation Street The Tour and the Daytime Studios Tour, as well as a new attraction opening in Manchester.

The innovative ticketing suite will enable ITV to manage transactions seamlessly and simultaneously build customer loyalty via a wealth of intuitive membership tools.

Designed to drive revenue, the ticketing suite provides easy up-sell, cross-sell and quick-sell prompts while helping guests seamlessly plan their visits to ITV tours and attractions.

ACCESSO ANNOUNCES THE RETURN OF STEVE BROWN AS CEO

accesso Technology Group, a leading provider for solutions for attractions and entertainment venues around the world, has announced that Steve Brown has returned to the company as CEO, replacing Paul Noland.

The change in leadership is part of accesso’s renewed focus on its strategic objective of delivering revenue and experience-enhancing solutions through market-leading technology.

Bill Russell, executive chairman of accesso, commented on the recent appointment: “We are thrilled that Steve has decided to return to the leadership role as the CEO.  His understanding of the company’s core business along with his vision and passion for Accesso are unparalleled.

Brown founded the company’s namesake accesso business in 2008. In 2012, the company became part of what is now accesso Technology Group PLC. From 2013 and 2017, accesso underwent rapid expansion, acquiring Siriusware, ShoWare, Ingresso and TE2.

From 2016 to 2018, when he left the business, Steve Brown served as president and CEO of accesso. Talking about the company’s plans to fully leverage the range of assets within its portfolio and deliver value-enhancing solutions to the marketplace, Steve Brown said: “Accesso has an incredible team of talented professionals, a vast array of innovative technology and a global reach that is unmatched by any other company in our industry.

ACCESSO APPOINTS NEW CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Accesso Technology Group, a leading provider of premier technology solutions for the attractions, leisure and hospitality industries, as appointed John Guilfoy to the newly created role of chief operating officer.

Guilfoy will continue to drive growth and innovation in Accesso’s constantly expanding portfolio of solutions and clients. As chief operating officer, Guilfoy will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the company.

John Guilfoy has been working in the travel, technology and financial services sector for more than 23 years. He has held a number of senior executive roles at TravelClick, an eCommerce Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS) provider to hotels, where he worked for eight years.

Guilfoy has an MBA from Columbia Business School and the London Business School with a concentration in Management and Finance. Accesso’s new chief operating officer also holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University in New York City, New York.

Accesso’s CEO, Paul Noland spoke of the new appointment.

“We believe that John’s experience in operations and his strength in managing a wide range of teams make him the right choice to help us drive both business and customer success.

“I look forward to working closely with him as we continue to execute future plans,” Noland added.
