Daniels Wood Land, specialists in themed design and fabrication, shooting galleries, commercial playgrounds, animatronics and tree houses, have announced they are to open new headquarters and a shop in Paso Robles, California.
The $6 million new headquarters will triple the size of the company’s current space. The opening of the new building is to coincide with Daniels Wood Land’s launching of a new themed division – DWL Studios.
Construction of the four-acre property began in mid-2019. On the site is a 35,000 sq. ft. building with a climate-controlled art department and space for theming, custom work, steel fabrication, shooting galleries and more.
Andy Dauterman, Daniels Wood Land EVP business development, shared his enthusiasm for the new headquarters, stating: “We are excited to enter this next chapter of our business, which allows us to increase efficiency, capacity and future growth. Furthermore, DWL Studios will be able to provide dedicated resources and services for our valued clients in the themed entertainment marketplace.”
The company’s current facility, which is five miles from the new site, was beginning to reach its limits and was struggling to accommodate Daniels Wood Land’s larger projects and broader range of clients.
“The new office allows us to provide a full suite of turn-key services to our clients and to turn around projects with greater speed than ever before,” added Dauterman.
The opening of the new facility is forecast for January 2020. The company expects to add more staff to its expanding workforce when the new headquarters open.
