PARADROPVR LAUNCHES AT LANDMARK GROUP’S TRIDOM AMUSEMENT PARK, INDIA

ParadropVR, the immersive adventure attraction, has launched at Tridom, Landmark Group’s new 70,000 sq. ft. indoor amusement park located in the Sarath City Capital Mall in Hyderabad, India

Visitors to the Indian theme park will able to experience the thrill of virtual reality paragliding on the ParadropVR.

ParadropVR invites thrill-seekers to embark on an interactive skill-based game that centred on a thrilling immersive adventure.

The launch of the immersive adventure attraction was immediately well received by guests who went on the ride at Tridom.

Citymax Hotels India, a Landmark Group division, operates Tridom in India, which home to many innovative indoor rides and interactive games.

Silvio Liedtke, Landmark Group’s CEO, commented: “We’re delighted to be launching India’s first ParadropVR at Tridom. Our goal is to offer the most innovative, exciting and state-of-the-art games and experiences to teens and kids, so it really is a great fit.”

This is the first installation of ParadropVR in India and follows the launch of the first ParadropVR City Flyer at the King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok.

Further installations of the immersive attraction are planned for 2019, including at the Genting Highlands Resort in Malaysia.

During IAAPA Expo Europe in Paris in September, four new ParadropVR games were previewed, including the new City Flyer and Desert Flyer experiences.

The attractions was well received at the show, with around 300 visitors coming to experience the ride.

PARADROPVR CITY FLYER TO SHOWCASE AT IAAPA EUROPE EXPO 2019

Frontgrid, a global adventure leisure and entertainment specialist, has announced it will be showcasing its new ParadropVR City Flyer attraction at this year’s IAAPA Europe Expo in Paris from September 17 – 19.

The ParadropVR City Flyer is a virtual reality game designed at helping destination-based attractions engage and entertain visitors. By combining self-controlled flight with free roam virtual reality content, riders of the new attraction are put at the heart of an immersive adventure.

With the City Flyer, guests fly across a 4km stretch of the operators’ choice, past well-known landmarks and features. The attraction provides a realistic flying sensation, with audio and wind effects and a self-controlled up and down motion, intertwined with sudden drops and smooth deceleration.

Visitors heading to booth 2424 at IAAPA Europe Expo 2019 will be preview the City Flyer game, as well as four other new and updated ParadropVR games.

The first ParadropVR City Flyer was installed in July this year at the King Power Mahankhon, Bangkok. The ride is known as the Mahanakhon Sky Rides and enables guests to enjoy an exhilarating VR game while flying around one of the world’s most exciting cities.

PARADROPVR ENJOYS STRONG PERFORMANCE IN 2019

Frontgrid, specialists in virtual reality attractions, has announced its immersive experience known as ParadropVR has been a hit around the world, and is on the cusp of breaking one million rides across all its international locations in 2019.

In March this year, ParadropVR opened at the VR Park in Dubai, significantly boosting ride utilisation and revenue figures for the attraction.

Visitor numbers for ParadropVR increased by more than 70% from the first quarter of 2019 at Merlin Entertainment’s The Bear Grylls Adventure. The attraction is also being embraced by guests at iFly venues and the Universe Science Park.

The experts in virtual reality attractions are planning further installations of the ParadropVR in the UK, India, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. Frontgrid also plans to launch the world’s first ParadropVR City Flyer at the King Power Mahanakhon in Bangkok.
